Koma-ya at Kyoto Palace, South

South side of Kyoto Imperial Palace, Kyoto

I often use the expression “a divine message in my dream.” When I’m moving towards the future, I learn what I need to do in my dream, from a message heard from wind, a scenery of future I happen to see in space. From a divine message I received, I was shown to create a gallery cafe where a “Koma” signboard is set up. As I found the exact place I saw in my dream, I came to open Koma-ya.

We exhibit and sell artworks and products of KEIKO KOMA Selection; sell coffee beans from Ethiopia and Tanzania directly imported by NPO KOMA, which is one of the products of the selection; and created a cafe corner where customers can drink the coffee. Knowing a beautiful and rich internality becomes the richness of one’s life and creates a peaceful world, as part of KEIKO KOMA Selection, I draw mind-scape artworks, a light-scape of an internality. I think that a peaceful world where everyone can live will be realized when the internal light of people is manifested. I hope you enjoy KEIKO KOMA Selection in the space of an infinite world where the music of Master Idaki Shin is played.
